good website

My friend just gave me this website:

http://www.scribd.com

super duper good! I use it mainly to search for medical books (it doesn't have a wide selection though). Also, if I know the topic my GP will be teaching this week, I would use it to search for notes. You can get ECG made easy (and download the PDF file), Chest X ray made easy from it. No need to buy or reserve it from the uni library (coz it's never available to be borrowed on the shelf).

Good website links for revision

Some useful sites for revision:

Anatomy:
1. UAMS gross anatomy: http://ect.downstate.edu/courseware/haonline/toc.htm

Human cross-sectional anatomy:
1. netanatomy: http://www.netanatomy.com/CSA/csa_frame.htm (damn good..so much better than my uni one)

2. Leeds:
http://www.bmb.leeds.ac.uk/illingworth/visible/vismale.htm
(my uni's one..not so good as it requires additional plug-ins & most of the cross-section slides are not labeled)

Histology:
1. Blue histology: http://www.lab.anhb.uwa.edu.au/mb140/ (good for revision)

2. University of Winsconsin: http://www.histology.wisc.edu/histo/uw/htm/ttoc.htm ( good for histo slides recognition)

3. Boston University: http://www.bu.edu/histology/m/i_main00.htm ( same as no. 2)

Embryology:
1. Indiana: http://www.indiana.edu/~anat550/embryo_main/ (very good animation!)

There are dissection pictures as well as practical questions for each system. I haven't looked at it thoroughly yet. So dunno whether it's good
