Finally back from UK

Finally I'm back from UK. It's was indeed a most enjoyable and wonderful trip i've ever had. The first time I get to visit overseas which has different timezone than that of M'sia. Sigh...it's time to face the reality. I've lots to catch up for the classes I missed. There will be a maths test on Wednesday when I return to college. I might sit for other test too coz Datin wants the test resuls for every student. Today I just chatted with Lynda and found out that Ms Lim had finished one whole chapter of Vector and she's starting with Integration. Die...there's really a lot which i need to do when I get back to KL.

Uk was fun with Steph around. Reason? She almost paid for everything we bought in Morrisons. But I still had to beg her to let me eat Thorntons. The chocolates in UK is cheap for the locals there. So, it's not surprising to find Steph's room filled with chocolates. Just sitting in her room for ten minutes will send red signals to my weight as I will be munching away one of her kit kat bars or her cadbury chocs. Really fattening those things.

Too bad the UK trip has to come to an end. Steph was quite sad to see us go as no one will keep her accompany anymore. She stood by the window to watch our car leaving Shimmin. Andrew seemed to understand Steph very much. When we were packing to leave, I remember him telling Steph , 'don't cry stephanie' when we told her that Steph will surely miss us when we leave UK...hmm...did he really understand Steph and said it on purpose? I wonder. Sad la have to leave UK. BUT...

in six months' time...

I WILL BE BACK

Nottingham offer!

believe it or not...I've got Nottingham offer just one week after the interview. A for Bio and Chem and a B in maths or physics. I had the guts feeling that I would get an offer but i brushed that feeling away thinking that it's just simply impossible to get an offer. So when I told my mum that I've got an offer, my mum got really excited. I guess she must have told as many people she could ( including Uncle Sin Hung) to tell the 'good news'. Personally I don't know whether I want to go to nottingham or not. NOtts seem to be a very good university, but the course is m ore intense and it will cost my parents RM100000 more than Leeds. If I get Leeds, there will be a very big problem in choosing. Leeds is cheaper and I get to be with Stephanie. There's less walking needed to the university and the prospect of finding a part-time job is good. which one should i choose ler? sigh..this is so troublesome

UK rocks!

YES, UK ROCKS!!

I love Uk man...except for the fact that it's rather cold, I love it and I really want to go to UK! It's been one week in UK and i love every single day in UK. It's very fun and exciting. visiting new places everytime, experiencing the cold weather for the first time, learning the culture of UK people...wow...i would say this is the best holiday trip I ever had. Praise the Lord for making this happen!

Today I checked UCAS and found out that I got a conditional offer from Nottingham! A for bio and chem and a B for physics or maths. Really want to thank God for that! Praise the Lord! It was You who made all this possible Lord! Love you Lord! But then if i get Leeds too, it will be a very tough decision to make. Both have their advantages. Nott is prestigious but expensive. Leeds is less famous but the cost of living is relatively lower than Nott and I have my sister to keep me accompany *scrathing chin* which one to choose ler?

Sigh...lazy to think now...wait till i really get an offer from Leeds

YIPEE! Going to UK in er...12 hours?

Finally, today is the day...I'M GOING TO UK! After like 1 month of mum's undecidedness whether to allow me to go UK or not...i'm sort of immune to mum's let-offs, one day she would say 'You are going to UK' and the next day 'uh-oh, you're not going to UK'. Oh well, mum is always like that. That's not the first time she's doing that anyway.

Although mum is not going to UK, she's planning the trip as if she's part of it. Last night I guess she was the last one to sleep, packing clothes, deciding which cans of food to bring, deciding which clothes give better warmth etc...and she even had time to write my draft letter to Leeds! Now sitting here as I write my blog, there's a HUGE pile of dry food, soap, toothpaste(10 altogether), food cans...beside me. It will last her for at least 3 years..hehe...but it's gonna take half of Steph's room in Leeds...hmmm...how's steph gonna store them *wonders*

Tonight is OB nite for MC...pity i gonna miss it. But I still have to pay RM115! damn...all from my own pocket...i didn't dare tell mum that I'm not exempted from paying. Fortunately I spent less than Rm50 on food so I've RM35 left after paying for everything...so I could still afford myself to treat myself some meal in Mc donald's *winked*..phew...at least i don't have resort to eating grass *chuckles*
