alternative numbers

For people in the UK, I've a good website to recommend. click here.

it contains alternative numbers to 0870, 0844, 0845...which are very expensive to call ( about 30p per minute) and not inclusive of the free minutes we are allocated for our mobile phone contract.

the alternative numbers given are landline numbers and the best thing is that they are included in the free minutes =)

Those numbers are real blood sucker coz they make you wait on the phone for ages after the operator picks up and you do is jz listen to some music blasting into your ears while you wait to be served.

I've used it before and it saved me tons of money!

exam over

wheeeeeeeeeeeeee...

my exam is finally over!

super hard coz they tested us on so many clinical cases which couldn't be found in the lecture notes. Anyway, I shouldn't worry about it at the moment.

Things I've planned to do this summer:

1. work work work work workkkkkkkkkkk
2. photography
3. bake cakes
4. read the 'ECG made easy' book and 'x-ray made easy' book so that I don't suffer in 3rd year (according to Esther & steph)

I'm finally on my annual leave at work.

2 weeks off my part-time work but not uni work. I have to make full use of my annual leave to study.

Only after my exam on 19th I will only have 3 days to enjoy before going back to work at RM. Not mentioning I'm working 7.5 hours each day for the university's open day on the 20th and 21st. So that's only Sunday left to enjoy before kicking back to work+overtime.

sien ah. Why my life is always work work work one?

June is the month of cakes!!

Seems like there are so many people's birthday in the month of June! It's only mid June and we've eaten 4 cakes!

All cakes are super nice and what's good about them is that they are all homemade!

Esther must be jumping up and down like mad now coz she's missing all these. Haha :p

update: it's end of June and we've eaten 6 cakes altogether!

Got this from someone's blog:

Five doctors went duck hunting one day. Included in the group were a general practitioner, a pediatrician, a psychiatrist, a surgeon and a pathologist. After a time, a bird came winging overhead. The first to react was the general practitioner who raised his shotgun, but then hesitated.

"I'm not quite sure it's a duck," he said, "I think that I will have to get a second opinion." And of course by that time, the bird was long gone.

Another bird appeared in the sky soon thereafter. This time, the pediatrician drew a bead on it. He too, however, was unsure if it was really a duck in his sights and besides, it might have babies. "I'll have to do some more investigations," he muttered, as the creature made good its escape.

Next to spy a bird flying was the sharp-eyed psychiatrist. Shotgun shouldered, he was more certain of his intended prey's identity. "Now, I know it's a duck, but does it know it's a duck?" The fortunate bird disappeared while the fellow wrestled with this dilemma.

Finally, a fourth fowl sped past and this time the surgeon's weapon pointed skywards and he fired without hesitation. BOOM!! The surgeon lowered his smoking gun and turned nonchalantly to the pathologist beside him: "Go see if that was a duck, will you?"
